Long before the COVID-19 pandemic began, you recognized the importance of having world-class pediatric care close to home.

Knowing how important a children’s hospital is to the health of the state, you committed your time and resources to help Children’s of Mississippi expand the state’s only children’s hospital.

Since the novel coronavirus’s spread, the importance of having the best pediatric care available right here in Mississippi is more evident than ever.

The heroism of our pediatric health care team in responding to COVID-19 cases as well as routine children’s health needs shows the excellence of Children’s of Mississippi.

We are happy to report that, because of sound planning and steady progress, the Children’s of Mississippi expansion is on schedule despite the pandemic. It is on track to open this November.

With this new expansion and a greater number of private rooms for critical care, we will be able to provide world-class care in a facility designed for the health care challenges of today and the future.

During a crisis such as the one we are now weathering, the gratitude we feel for you, our allies in this effort to improve children’s health care in Mississippi, is greater than ever. We thank you for your faithful support of Children’s of Mississippi and trust that we will see many of you soon at the ribbon-cutting.
